Parents & Friends Association
This body gives invaluable assistance to the school and has an important role to play in terms of policy making and fundraising. You are invited and most welcome to become an active member of this organisation, and impact the present and future of our school.

Annual General Meeting
An Annual General Meeting is held in Term 1, and all committee positions are vacated and open for nominations - expressions of interest for any of the above positions should be directed to the Principal in the first instance.
Our Lady of Lourdes School’s Parents and Friends Association holds its meeting once a month except during holiday times. Everyone is most welcome to attend.
Meeting day is the third Thursday of the month, Commencing at 5:30 in the staff room.
The Association exists to:
- form a link between the parents and friends of the school and staff
- provide a forum by which to discuss matters of interest and concern relating to the school, and
- foster school community
The Association is under the umbrella of the Queensland Diocesan Parents and Friends Association. All parents/carers of Our Lady of Lourdes School are automatically members of the Parents and Friends Association.
The goal of our Parents and Friends Association is to bring parents, children and teachers together for fun social activities that develop a strong sense of community and to engage parents in the life of our school. If you have any ideas or if you would like to receive more information about getting involved with the P & F Association, we would love to hear from you.
Fundraising is only one component of our Parents and Friends Association. All funds raised by the P & F Association committee are put back into the facilities and resources for the children.
